Spread of Islam

Waqia (Event):

The spread of Islam refers to the expansion of the Islamic faith beyond the Arabian Peninsula after the death of Prophet Muhammad. This expansion occurred through trade, conquests, and the appeal of Islamic teachings, leading to the establishment of a vast Islamic civilization.

Quranic Reference:

In Surah As-Saff, Chapter 61, Verse 9, Allah says:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

Translation: "It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it."

Hadith:

Prophet Muhammad said, "Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers." (Muslim)

The spread of Islam led to the formation of diverse and influential Islamic empires, including the Umayyad, Abbasid, and Ottoman Empires, and played a significant role in shaping the cultural, scientific, and intellectual advancements in various regions across the world.
